SkyPostal Networks Inc. (OMGA.OB) is an international mail company that specializes in providing hand delivery of mail and periodicals into Latin America and The Caribbean (LAC). SkyPostal is the largest private mail network in Latin America and handles over 25 million pieces of mail per month.

National postal services from Europe to LAC are historically unreliable. These national services take at least 17 days for items to be delivered. Also, 30 percent of all mail into some countries in the region does not make it to its destination. The transit time and loss rate utilizing this method is a key reason why consumers are looking towards other international mail options.

There are other options to the national postal service including express services, remailers, and the USPS. Express services, such as DHL, FedEX, and UPS, provide reliable, traceable service but are very costly per item. Remailers are less expensive, but the mail is intermingled into the national postal service once it enters the region. USPS is reliable but its international services (IPA/ISLA) are costly, and like remailers, the mail is placed into the national postal service once it enters the LAC.

Rather than build its own system, SkyPostal signs the “best in class” messenger services in each country to hand deliver mail and parcels, which offers significant advantages. The company provides senders and recipients the ability to track their mail via its website, and provides signature proof of delivery service.

Why would someone use any other service when SkyPostal provides a more economic and reliable option throughout Latin America and the Caribbean?

SkyPostal Networks, Inc. (OMGA.OB) Announces Solid First Quarter Results

SkyPostal Networks, Inc. (OMGA.OB) announced financial results from its Q1 2008 operations today. Based in Miami, SkyPostal specializes in the hand delivery of commercial mail and periodicals from Europe and the US into Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).

Sales for the first quarter were reported at $2,440,801, which is a 40 percent increase over the same period in 2007, where sales were $1,747,765. The reported numbers indicate improved total operating margins from 17 percent in 2007 to 24 percent in 2008. EBITDA numbers also indicated an 11 percent increase.

President and CEO Albert Hernandez said, “We are very pleased to see our margins increasing together with the EBITDA and record revenue growth. The Company is committed to further expanding while keeping operational expenses as low as possible. We anticipate that margins will continue to increase as we further establish our presence in the LAC and improve our operational efficacy.”

Although the company saw increased tonnage and revenue, higher revenue per kilogram, lower delivery cost per kilogram and the resultant better margin between revenue and delivery cost per kilogram, net loss for Q1 2008 increased to $1,030,499 from $445,418 reported for Q1 2007. The net loss increase was in part due to non-recurring and non-cash expenses.

SkyPostal currently has exclusive agreements with over 20 major private postal services in 20 countries in the LAC. Over the last five quarters, the tonnage delivered has continually increased.

Hernandez stated, “Quite simply, we have achieved the best quarter over quarter results in the Company’s history based on revenues and profitability.” He continued, “Our investment in 2007 has provided a solid groundwork for a strong 2008.”

At this time, more than 130 tons of mail per month is being delivered into the LAC. The company projects continued growth through the remainder of 2008. The UPU estimates the region can potentially produce $1 billion for the company. A study in 2004 found that the LAC has a population of over 530 million, which results in an estimated 11 billion items of mail.

Hernandez concluded, “We are continuing to execute and improve upon our business model, and we believe that the Company will continue to aggressively grow its revenue and efficiencies in 2008. Our management team has done an extraordinary job positioning the Company to continue increasing its penetration in the industry. Simultaneously, they have created a powerful entrepreneurial spirit to enable the Company to generate strong revenue and net income growth while providing the best service possible.”

Omega United Inc (OMGA.OB) dba SkyPostal Networks’ New Board Member Boasts Impressive Credentials

On May 28, 2008, Omega United Inc (OMGA.OB) dba SkyPostal Networks elected Mr. S. David Fineman to its board of directors. Mr. Fineman is a distinguished attorney and senior partner in the law firm of Fineman, Krekstein and Harris, located in Philadelphia. The law firm represents a wide variety of clients, including governmental authorities and private clients dealing with government. He has an active litigation practice, and represents clients throughout the United States, Europe and Japan.

Mr. Fineman has represented several political and business organizations during his career, and has served as counsel to various federal, state and municipal candidates and elected officials in Pennsylvania. He has served as special counsel to Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Banking and Insurance Commissioner. At a national level, he has been a member of the Industry Policy Advisory Committee, a CEO-level committee that advises the U.S. Secretary of Commerce and U.S. trade representatives on international trade. Finally, he has served on the boards of other private companies and non-profit entities.

The most valuable attribute Mr. Fineman brings to SkyPostal’s Board of Directors is that, from 1995 to 2004, he served on the U.S. Postal Service’s (USPS) Board of Governors, an appointment given him in 1995 by President Clinton. According to USPS Postmaster General and Chief Executive Officer John E. Potter, “Chairman Fineman set extraordinarily high standards for the Postal Service, and then urged us to exceed them. He guided and supported Postal Service achievement, and publicly advocated postal reform.” During Mr. Fineman’s tenure as chairman, the Postal Service moved aggressively to identify and capture opportunities to cut costs, and improve efficiency and customer service.

A review of SkyPostal’s Q1 financial results shows that the company must concentrate on two main areas. First, it must generate profitability by improving the efficiency of its operations. Second, it must continue to expand its business in Latin America. It is clear from Mr. Fineman’s experience as USPS Board of Governor Chairman and his international trade policy advisory experience that he will provide expert guidance to SkyPostal.

SkyPostal Inc. (OMGA.OB) Making Sure Businesses No Longer Fear Shipping to Latin America

Omega United Inc., dba SkyPostal Networks Inc., offers more to its customers than just timely delivery of mail and periodicals into Latin America. SkyPostal offers several specialized services for businesses and individuals in need of delivery services and direct mail solicitations in the often uncertain market of Latin America. These services are offered at a significantly discounted cost and represent the first cost-effective solution that can guarantee a package reaching its destination.

SkyPostal mail ensures a timely delivery to its destination anywhere between 7 and 10 days of the package being received in Miami, Florida. The package is then transported and delivered by hand by a SkyPostal employee. If hand delivery is not enough, SkyPostal tracks all shipments with their unique PosTrac GPS system that allows for real-time monitoring of packages from the time they leave Miami until they reach their destination.

SkyPostal’s services also include return mail and undeliverable mail returns either electronically or physically. If a client is able to barcode each mail item, SkyPostal will scan in all undeliverable or return items and provide a reason for the return. This information will be available to the client via PosTrac, and allows the client to correct the address and prevent the problem from recurring in the future. For an additional charge based on package weight, SkyPostal will also physically return undeliverable items to the sender.

For larger businesses with mass marketing needs, SkyPostal now offers an un-addressed delivery service. This targets highly-rated consumers in the region via their tag-along service. These pieces will reach locations covered in SkyPostal’s regular delivery areas, even when the address is unknown or previously unavailable by other conventional delivery services. Finally SkyPostal can now provide signature proof of delivery in most cities.

SkyPostal, Inc. (OMGA.OB) Has a Well Experienced Management Team Leading its Growth

SkyPostal, Inc. (OMGA.OB) is an international mail distribution company specializing in offering hand delivery of mail and periodicals into Latin America. The company looks to provide customers with the most consistent, secure, and dependable mail delivery service while utilizing innovative logistics solutions and technologically advanced information. As of today, they are the largest private mail network in Latin America handling mail from European postal administrations, major publishers, international mailers, and financial institutions. The company’s services are supported by a web-based proprietary tracking system that provides clients with the ability to track their mailings.

The management team founded the first courier and mail delivery service in Latin America back in 1972 called SkyNet-Choice. SkyPostal was founded in 2002 to create a higher and more modern standard for “time defined” mail delivery in the Americas. The company’s established “outsourced” private messenger network combined with their proprietary software enables SkyPostal to satisfy a vast market need for reliable and affordable “time defined” mail service throughout the region. Hand delivered mail by SkyPostal takes an average of 7.5 days, while it takes national postal services around 17 days. It’s not only the transit time of the national postal service that is much longer but their undeliverable rate is as high as 30% in some countries.

Albert P. Hernandez, CEO of SkyPostal has accumulated over 38 years of mail and messenger delivery experience. He was a pioneer in developing the private courier and mail delivery business in Latin America, opening his first operation in Venezuela in 1972. He has worked with FedEx with package distribution in the region during the 80’s, handling express mail shipments for several European posts, and hand-delivery of mail for Deutsche Post’s Global Mail in the 90’s.

Michael J. Knorr, President of SkyPostal, brings a wide array of expertise and experience to the company’s board. Having worked in the strategic planning, development and management of large-scale express transportation and mail operations for over 20 years, his well-rounded knowledge makes him a great asset to the company. He was previously the executive vice president at Swiss Post International (USA), Inc. in New York, a wholly owned subsidiary of Swiss PostAG. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Express Messenger Systems, Inc. (EMS), and TNT Express Worldwide, the world leader in global express, logistics and mail services.

Omega United, Inc. dba SkyPostal Networks, Inc. (OMGA.OB) Files 8-K Announcing Expanded Partnership with Deutsche Post’s DHL Global Mail

In an 8-K filed on July 1st, Omega United, Inc., dba SkyPostal, announced that it has agreed with Deutsche Post’s DHL Global Mail to extend their current partnership. The new contract will allow SkyPostal to expand its service offering to Europe, which may further increase revenues.

SkyPostal already has a foothold in the LAC due to the acquisition of Spring Global Mail Latin America in August 2007. This acquisition resulted in the creation of the largest private mail service network in Latin America and the Caribbean. The company handles mail from European postal administrations, major publishers, financial institutions, and international mailers that require adherence to time-defined deliveries. Currently, SkyPostal has exclusive agreements with over 20 major private postal services for delivery throughout the LAC, and handles over 25 million pieces of mail per month.

Recently SkyPostal announced financial results from its Q1 2008 operations. Omega United, Inc. dba SkyPostal, Inc. (OMGA.OB) Recently Signed a Key Strategic Marketing Agreement with DHL Global Mail

Last week, Omega United, Inc., dba SkyPostal, signed a contract with Deutsche Post’s DHL Global Mail, which allows the company to expand its service coverage to Europe. Previously, SkyPostal was only focused on delivering mail to the Latin American-Caribbean region.

This monumental contract is anticipated to significantly increase SkyPostal’s revenues. Current statistics of mail delivery indicate that 12% of the international mail coming from the United States goes to the Latin America-Caribbean (LAC) region. In contrast, an estimated 35% of U.S. international mail is delivered into Europe. SkyPostal may now capitalize on the combined postal demand of both major regions.

DHL Global Mail is a leader in worldwide cross-border mail business, with 4,000 employees, 50 processing centers, and 35 sales offices located throughout the globe. DHL Global Mail offers expertise in express, air and ocean freight, overland transport, contract logistics solutions and international mail services, combined with worldwide coverage and an in-depth understanding of local markets. DHL’s international network links more than 220 countries and territories worldwide.

The agreement further validates SkyPostal’s stated strategic initiative to continue to expand revenues and earnings by maximizing capacity and output to meet the demand for door-to-door reliable international mail service. SkyPostal will now be able to market their service as a wholesaler throughout Europe and into the entire DHL international network.

SkyPostal Inc. (OMGA.OB) is a Step Ahead of FedEx

SkyPostal Inc. (OMGA.OB), a Miami-based international mail distribution company, recently signed an agreement with Deutsche Post’s DHL Global Mail to expand services throughout Europe. With a solid footprint in Latin America and the Caribbean, SkyPostal will now be able to provide expanded service to its established client base in Europe.

Interestingly enough, FedEx has indicated interest in mimicking SkyPostal’s business decision. Many consider FedEx to be the premier parcel network here in the U.S., but it is actually attempting to recover from a fourth quarter loss of $241 million. To help alleviate the loss, FedEx is looking at expanding its international operations into Europe by purchasing TNT, a smaller delivery service based in the Netherlands.

Where FedEx is only thinking about the plan, SkyPostal has already committed itself to strengthening its presence in Europe. The agreement with DHL Global Mail is a logical business decision, as DHL is considered a leader in world-wide, cross-border mail delivery. SkyPostal can capitalize on DHL’s solid infrastructure and continue to provide reliable service for its established and new clients in Europe.

It is estimated that about 12 percent of U.S. international mail is currently delivered to the Latin America-Caribbean (LAC) region. Additionally, about 35 percent of U.S. international mail is being delivered to European countries. With a large target market in two specific regions, SkyPostal can focus its efforts and continue to build its reputation for on-time delivery throughout the LAC and Europe.

Omega United, Inc. dba SkyPostal (OMGA.OB) Networks Continues Expansion to the Northeast Region with Newark Airport Facility Addition

SkyPostal Networks, Inc. announced the opening of a new facility at Newark Airport to handle its mail and parcel post traffic to and from the UK and Europe. The new facility will service existing customers throughout the Northeast and serve new business the company expects to gain from its recent key strategic marketing agreement with Deutsche Post’s U.S. Division – DHL Global Mail.

Albert P. Hernandez, SkyPostal’s president and CEO, stated, “The operations at Newark will help us gain new business by having a local presence in the Northeast region. By changing and expanding our shipment processing locations, we reduce line haul costs and improve transit times. Mail shipments normally processed through our Miami hub can now be routed more efficiently to Europe and certain LAC destinations through the Newark location. This development allows SkyPostal to increase the rate of international expansion while improving service quality. We anticipate even greater growth potential in the near future with the addition of hand delivery service to Europe.”

By capitalizing on the ability to utilize Deutsche Post’s global network, the SkyPostal expansion into Newark will facilitate the introduction of service to Europe. Newark Liberty Airport last year handled over 1 million tons of cargo and is a major hub for large international mailers.

The name change better reflects the mission of the company to be a global leader in the non-time critical mail and parcel post delivery market. Additionally, the change is expected to support the anticipated promotion of a readily identifiable brand name for the company’s products.

SkyPostal, an international mail distribution company that specializes in offering the hand delivery of mail and periodicals into Latin America (LAC), currently has service agreements with the French, German and Swiss postal services to deliver mail in the LAC region. The company is also providing reliable, time-defined, international “intelligent” private postal services at lower costs than the United States Postal Service and the major European postal agencies, with higher customer satisfaction.
