If you don't know to much about picking stock then I would recommend you find some sites that will not only give you good stock picks but also show you there reasons behind there picks. Also no site will make you a successful trader, only through hard work and learning everything you can about the stock market, will you be successful.

If you like you can you check out my blog at http://themadtrader.blogspot.com

ALL PAID SITE ARE PRETTY GOOD, PLEASE TRY THEM ON TRAIL BASIS AND CANCEL BEFORE TRAIL IS OVER. I TRIED A LOT OF WEB SITES, YOU CAN ASK ME BY THE NAME OF SPECIFIC WEBSITE AND I WILL GIVE YOU MY COMMENT. BY THE WAY I LIVE IN GAINESVILLE, I SAW THAT YOU LIVE IN TAMPA.

Forget touts and analysts who all have self serving motives. Go to your nearest major mall and see who is busy. (e.g. American Eagle was a lot busier and 'COOLER" a year ago).Research them on the web. (easy task) and then make a small stab and see how it feels and works out. Read the headlines. Do not take everything info/recommendation at face value, and remember my mantra; its better to make no investment than a bad one. Do not follow the herd, march to your own conclusions.
Send the author of this missive a $100 cheque (certified) for the best advice you will ever get, as the old chestnut goes, the broker you listen to the broker you will get.

Look for a site that compiles many different opinions and perspectives that way you can begin to form your own idea of your investing style and method.

I wouldn't spend my time on any site that charges a fee because most valuable information and perspectives are on the internet for free...mostly on blogs or sites that bring together the analysis and comments of many different financial writers.

Look for a site that outlines the basics and gives you good information from a variety of different sources, that way you can decipher what style is best for you

I would suggest http://sogotrade.com as it explains all the necessary steps as demo pages of real trading system. Also the education pages would tell you even the basics and the advanced about online stock trading. In all the eductaion on the site is very good along with its equally good trade policies which are as cheap as $1.5

I would suggest Marketocracy.com. You can run your virtual funds, read about investing and stock topics and learn a lot. SocialPicks is also becoming relevant source of information and track records of the members. Anyway, make your choice and read just everything about stock market investing first.
One of my funds there:

Btw. Brandon!
To make things interesting here; when you make one of your stock selection, post it here including brief reasons/research about why you think is a good long term buy whether because of fundamentals or technical facts. I'll be picking this stock from you and include it in my long term diversified ASTRA portfolio at SLO competition or here at socialPicks.
